Anti-Ragging Cell

Ragging is strictly prohibited on and off campus. The institute's Discipline and Anti-Ragging Cell ensures a safe, disciplined environment. Regular classroom checks are conducted, and strict action is taken against any form of ragging or misconduct.

Aims:

  • To prevent any physical or mental harassment or conduct that causes fear, humiliation, or distress to students.
  • To create awareness about ragging & ensure a student-friendly environment at all times.

Objectives:

  • To aware the students of dehumanizing effect of ragging inherent in its perversity.
  • To keep a continuous watch and vigil over ragging so as to prevent its occurrence and recurrence.

Grievance Redressal Cell

The Grievance Redressal Cell addresses student complaints related to academic and non-academic matters. Grievances can be submitted online or via the suggestion box, and the institution ensures timely resolution.

AIMS:

  • To develop an organizational framework to resolve Grievances of Students and other stakeholders.
  • To provide the student’s access to immediate, hassle-free recourse to have their Grievances redressed.

Women Empowerment Cell

The Women Empowerment Cell aims to promote gender equality and uplift women through awareness programs and events. Comprising faculty and students, the Cell organizes academic, cultural, and social activities to foster a gender-sensitive campus and society.

Aims:

  • To organize seminars and workshops to raise awareness and encourage active participation of students, faculty, and staff in the Cell's activities.
  • To conduct training programs and promote self-employment schemes to encourage women's self-reliance.

Objectives:

  • Conducting activities under the theme of gender with a target audience in mind.
  • The guest speaker/judge should be someone working in the field of gender.

Research & Development Cell

The Research and Development Cell aims to promote research by establishing a structured framework, defining roles, formulating policies, identifying key research areas, and forming research teams and consortia.

Aims:

  • To develop a strong research base to build indigenous theories of social work.
  • To stimulate practitioners and students to access research and to be educated consumers of scientific literature.

Objectives:

  • To create zeal among the students towards research and innovation
  • To enhance skill development training and self employment opportunities

Cultural Cell

Cultural activities are a vital part of the college experience, offering students enjoyment, personal growth, skill development, social interaction, and a way to preserve cultural traditions.

  • To respect and appreciate cultural diversity.
  • To celebrate a positive understanding of the different cultures across the wider community.

Objectives:

  • The main objective is to bring out the multi faceted potentials of students
  • To be a catalyst for overall personality development of students in grooming them for their future career and life.

Placement Cell

The Placement Cell plays a key role in preparing students for employment through year-round training, counseling, and skill development. It bridges academics and career opportunities, ensuring smooth campus placements.

Aims:

  • To assist students in career growth and development
  • To develop and establish a linkage between Industry and Institute

OBJECTIVES:

  • Placement Cell provide guidance to the students for selecting right career
  • To give knowledge, improve skill with aptitude test.

NSS CELL

The National Service Scheme (NSS), launched in 1969, is a government-run program under the Department of Youth Affairs and Sports. It promotes student-led community service, encouraging active participation of students and teachers in nation-building efforts.

Aims:

  • The program aims to inculcate social welfare in students, and to provide service to society without bias.
  • NSS volunteers work to ensure that everyone who is needy gets help to enhance their standard of living and lead a life of dignity.

Objectives:

  • To understand themselves in relation to their community.
  • To identify the needs and problems of the community and involve them in the problem-solving process.

SC-ST CELL

The SC/ST Cell aims to empower socially and economically disadvantaged students by supporting their integration into the mainstream and facilitating financial assistance from government and other sources.

Aims:

  • To implement the reservation policy for SCs/STs in the Universities and Colleges.
  • To ensure effective implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of the reservation policy in colleges and universities as per Government of India guidelines.

Objectives:

  • To create awareness among the SC/ST students regarding various scholarships.
  • To provide prompt counseling for any emotional emergencies arising on account of any event at the campus.

Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), formed as per UGC guidelines, ensures continuous quality enhancement and sustenance in the institution’s academic and administrative practices.

Aims:

  • To achieve academic and administrative excellence
  • To develop stronger Industry-Academia relation for benefit of staff and students

Objectives:

  • To perform various activities like quality management to sustain and improve the quality parameter in various activities taken place in the college
  • To provide suggestions and recommendations for conducting special lectures, seminars, and conferences by the departments

ANTI SEXUAL HARASSMENT CELL

As per UGC and Supreme Court guidelines, the college has formed a Prevention of Sexual Harassment Cell to ensure a safe environment by raising awareness, supporting victims, and addressing complaints through proper enquiry.

Aims:

  • To receive any complaints from students/staff regarding sexual harassment.
  • To conduct a systematic inquiry on receiving any complaints from aggrieved students/staff & submit a detailed report

Objectives:

  • To uphold Women’s’ Right to Protection against Sexual Harassment and the Right to Livelihood and towards that end for the Prevention and Redressal of Sexual Harassment of women.
  • To promote an environment that will raise awareness about and deter acts of sexual harassment of employees and students of the college.
